Norwalk
Big City Amenities, Small Town Hospitality

History
Norwalk, Iowa, was established in the mid-19th century as part of the westward expansion of settlers in Warren County. The town was officially incorporated in 1900 and grew as an agricultural hub due to its fertile soil. Over time, Norwalk evolved into a thriving suburban community, thanks to its proximity to Des Moines. The expansion of the Des Moines Metro and the development of residential neighborhoods made Norwalk a desirable place to live. Today, Norwalk is known for its excellent schools, strong community spirit, and rapid growth while maintaining its small-town charm.
